Job Search Training

This service ensures that the person possesses effective job search skills once the need to return to an alternate occupation has been identified.  This generally involves four to six sessions during which a résumé is developed, realistic occupational options are identified in the local labour market, employer contacts are made by the client and/or Sage and the individual is actively involved in seeking appropriate employment.  Other topics covered include application procedures, employer contacts, appearance, interview skills, follow-up contacts, labour market resources and job retention skills.
