Maya Fallows

Maya is an experienced occupational therapist who has developed and applied her expertise in injury prevention (job analysis, ergonomic assessments), vocational rehabilitation (return to work programs, functional ability evaluations, disability management) and occupational health and safety since 1995.

Maya has completed extensive professional training in ergonomics and occupational safety topics. In addition to her work with Sage, Maya has worked as an occupational therapist with the Nova Scotia Teachers’ Union, Ultra Electronics Maritime Systems, Aetna Health Management and Voc Care Rehabilitation Management.

Maya is trained in the 3rd edition of PGAP (Progressive Goal Attainment Program ) which addresses intervention techniques for reducing disability associated with a wide range of debilitating health and mental health conditions in addition to pain-related disability, through the University Centre for Pain and Disability.
