Since 1989 Sandra has provided comprehensive case management and rehabilitation counselling services to individuals with emotional and physical disabilities and their families through assessment and coordination of plans aimed at restoring the highest level of function. These services include providing vocational rehabilitation assistance, complex case management, cost of future care analysis and earnings capacity evaluations to individuals who have disabilities with emphasis on maximizing the person’s function and quality of life. Sandra has also consistently been an active volunteer with community and professional organizations over the course of her career.
In 2003, Sandra completed a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in her studies on Human Resource Management and Management Consulting. She has also provided program development and consultation services to organizations on disability management programs and has presented on various topics related to the rehabilitation field on a local, regional and national level.
Sandra is trained in the 4th edition of PGAP (Progressive Goal Attainment Program ) which addresses intervention techniques for reducing disability associated with a wide range of debilitating health and mental health conditions in addition to pain-related disability, through the University Centre for Pain and Disability.
